ALL GREAT PRODUCTS START WITH A BASIC NEED...
I am often asked what motivated me to start this business, and how I ever thought of something as unique as "designer bra straps".
Well, as the story goes - I went to a high school reunion and a friend of mine had a little spaghetti strap shirt on with some rhinestone bra straps peeking out underneath. I did an immediate b-line over to her to ask her what she was wearing and she showed me a cute little bra that had Austrian crystal rhinestones attached to the straps. I just had to get that bra because over half of my wardrobe is made up of cute little tank tops and strappy items where finding the appropriate bra to pull off that outfit was always a chore. She directed me to a boutique where I snatched up a bra in every color.
When I returned to home, I was amazed at how the bras immediately transformed many of the outfits I had in my closet. There were several shirts and dresses that could only previously be worn with strapless bras -- BUT NOW! -- the bra strap could not only show, but it actually ENHANCED the look of the outfit!
Trust us -- our slogan is true! "Once you try these on, you'll be hooked!" It got to the point where my normal bras just weren't cutting it anymore. If I went out in one of my old bras, and part of my strap would show, I would be bothered by it the entire time! And then I got compulsive -- staring at everyone who had straps showing, ruining what could have been a perfectly cute outfit!
That's where the idea of designer bra straps came into play. I sat around the pool with some friends and we started talking about the endless fashion opportunities that existed with having a beautiful or fun bra strap.
There are resort-wear straps, prom straps, wedding straps, game-day straps, and everyday straps. That's how we started building our product line. And - of course we now carry the adorable Austrian-crystal bras that my friend was wearing. The bra has beautiful satin details and is so comfortable and elegant to wear.
As for the bra straps, don't you all agree that wearing a strapless bra is drudgery? You are constantly tugging at it and it flattens you down and is definitely not flattering. Simply attach the bra strap to any convertible bra and you will have instant lift PLUS you will add bling and style to your outfit. Our shoulders are one of your most sexy assets! (Think of our products as jewelry for your shoulders! Show them off beautifully!).
